Getting caught up on summer pictures! It was a busy summer, with work at both kid's homes for Al, which he loved much more than just sitting around!!! It was a good summer, and we have a lot to be grateful for.
On the other hand it has been a sad summer, with loss. We lost a friend and fellow Camper, Pauline, who we have know for more than 13 years. Another fellow camper lost their father, and another camper lost their son. So the summer presented a myriad of emotions this year, some not so welcome..
Below is a picture of the motly Bermuda Crew!! Had a great time on the cruise...way too much food...and we all managed to survive a day of rockin and rollin at sea :)
Below, Al and Bubba in the our rig. We were parked at Brian and Lauren's place to do some work. Sooo nice to have a kitty in the rig...but it was only for a visit. :(
Brian and Bubba, regular visitors to the rig :)
Aiden celebrated his 9th birthday this summer.
Brian and Lauren took us to a Hibatchi Grill restaurant where they cooked at your table. Our first time at one of these and boy it was fun!!!
Good catch from both the pros LOL.....
Next few pics are Ebenezer Park Campground, Rock Hill, SC. Lovely lovely campground!
Farmers Market in Lebanon, PA. Wonderful food and local meats!!
Massanutten Resort, Virginia. Time Share week with Al's brother. This Resort, while no camping, is huge with summer activities and winter skiing etc. Parked the rig next to the store, which apparently quite a few people do. It was so nice to be in a full size home.....where the bath is bigger than our rig LOL.....
If I could only fit one of these tubs in the rig LOL......
Units were connect with a long hall...made eating together a lot easier, etc.
The Time Share Crew!!!
Driving up to the summit, there were lots of deer on the side of the road, not afraid of cars in the least little bit!
The units had a wonderful view!!
Polyface Farm....."Polyface, Inc. is a family owned, multi-generational, pasture-based, beyond organic, local-market farm and informational outreach in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley"
Very interesting farm, a great way to farm with minimal investment in out buildings, and more return.
Below, this bldg if I can call it that, is moved with a tractor. No fuss, no problems.
Back in CT, Aiden's fish!
And Trin's loves....
While we had the kids in Bolton, took them to their old school and playground. They had a ball!!!
Also went to the Lutz Museum in Manchester. They had a blast role playing and looking around!!
Annual last dinner for wings before heading south!!!
